The Logo Game can be played as a team or individually. This game is suitable for adults and also children. If you want a more competitive match, then I would suggest playing individually instead of teams. Now lets get to it and learn how to play the logo board game.
Unfold the game board and place it on the table. Each player also needs to select their playing piece and place it on the start area.
Unwrap the question card and place them into the tray.
There are four questions on the front of each card. The first question is marked by purple followed by green, yellow, and red questions.
There are also three different types of cards:
The board has a path of purple, green, yellow, and red spaces leading to an inner winner zone space in the middle. The colors on the board match the colors on the question cards.
The team that has the youngest player gets to go first and the oldest person on the other team starts off as the Question Master (QM). Throughout the rest of the game players on the non-playing team take turns as the QM.
The QM takes the first question card from the tray and shows the picture on the back of the card (if there is one) while hiding the questions and answers from everybody. The first purple question is then read to the playing team.
If the team answers correctly then they get to move their piece to the next purple space on the board. The QM then goes on to ask the remaining questions to the playing team, and each time they answer correctly their playing piece moves to the space of the same color of the question that was asked.
Once the team has answered the last red question correctly and moved their playing piece to the next red space on the board their turn is over. The card is then placed at the back of the tray.
If the playing team answers a question wrong then the QM asked the SAME question to the members of their own team.
If they answer correctly they receive a bonus move and get to move their playing piece to the next color that matches the question.
If neither team answers correctly then the QM reads out the answer to both teams.
The QM then continues to read the rest of the questions to the playing team and play continues as above until all the questions on the card have been asked. This ends the turn and the teams switch roles for the next turn.
If a team answers a question correctly and there are no more colors matching the question between them and the winning zone, the player then moves into the winning zone. The team continues to answer any questions left on their card, but remains in the winning zone.
If a team is first to enter the winning zone they must either answer two consecutive answers in a row to win OR answer the red question correctly.
If both teams are in the winning zone and the playing team gets a question wrong, the QM askes members of their own team the same question. If they get it correct then THEY (not the playing team) gets asked the next question. If they answer the second question correctly they win! If they do not answer correctly then the QM reads the answer out loud to both teams. The QM now reads the next question on the card to the playing team.
Play continues until one team gets two questions in a row correct or answers the red question correctly.
The oldest person starts play off as the Question Master (QM).
The QM takes the first question card from the tray and shows the picture on the back of the card (if there is one) while hiding the questions and answers from everybody. The first purple question is then read to the person on the left.
If the player answers correctly then they get to move their piece to the next purple space on the board. The QM then goes on to ask the remaining questions to the player, and each time they answer correctly their playing piece moves to the space of the same color of the question that was asked.
Once the player has answered the last red question correctly and moved their playing piece to the next red space on the board their turn is over. The card is then placed at the back of the tray. The role of the QM is then moved to the player to the left of the QM.
If a player gets an answer wrong then their turn is over. The QM then asks the SAME question to the next player to the left. If they answer correctly then they move their piece to the next space on the board that matches the question color. The QM continues to ask the next question on the card to that same player until all the questions on that card have been answered or if they get an answer wrong in which case the question goes to the next person to the left and so on.
If no one can answer a question correctly the QM reads the answer aloud to everyone and the next question is given to the player on the QM’s left.
If no one can answer the last red question on the card the QM reads the answer aloud and the card is placed back in the tray. The role of QM is then moved to the left.
If a player answers a question correctly near the winning zone and there is not a color matching the question left between the player and the winner zone, then they move their piece into the winning zone for the rest of the game. The player continues their turn if their are any questions left on the card.
Once a player has moved into the winning zone they must answer two consecutive questions correct or a red question to win. If a player in the winning zone answers a question wrong, the QM gives that question to the next player to the left and play continues as normal.
